We will keep updating this page with our events for the year. Some of the dates will need to be TBC as they will rely on external factors, but we will do our best to confirm them as soon as possible.

If you want to get involved in any of these events, then just get in touch. It might be you help run the bar for an hour at Inflatables Day, support the Father’s Day stall for one lunchtime in school, or put up some posters to advertise an event.

With future events, we are always looking for support in having prizes donated, match funding or time actually organising or setting up an event.  You don’t have to be on the committee to help and you won’t even need to attend any meetings if you don’t want to!

Inflatables Day

20th September 2026

We have a new date for Inflatables Day: Sunday 20th September. If you bought tickets for the May date, these will transfer automatically – there is no need to do anything.

Fingers crossed the weather forecast plays nice this time!

However, we do need support from you as well as the weather if the event is to go ahead.

Buy your tickets in advance. One of the reasons we had to postpone was simply that not enough tickets had been sold. We know lots of people were waiting to see the forecast – and plenty of you told us afterwards you were about to buy them – but we can’t run the event on the hope that people will. We need to know that they have.

Volunteers to run hot food and tuck. Without enough people in these roles, the event can’t go ahead. If we’re still short the week before, we’ll sadly have to make that call again. Please sign up online.

This event raises over £2k for the school, so it really is vital it goes ahead. Please buy your tickets early, and if you can volunteer, sign up now as soon as possible.

Quizz for a Wizz

26th September 2026

Quiz for a Wizz – Saturday 26th September, from 7pm

Think you know your films, TV, and music? Come and prove it at the Chapel for a quiz night raising money to renovate the school toilets.

Teams of four, £5 per person, pay cash on the night. As well as the quiz itself there’ll be prizes, a raffle, and a silent auction.

To book your table, call the Chapel on 01376 561655. All proceeds go directly to St Peter’s School.

Lego Afternoon

3rd October 2026

Join us for a Lego afternoon for children aged 3 and over. Tickets for children are just £3, and all children must be accompanied by an adult (no ticket needed).

Local favourite Gary Harvey will be on hand selling his popular mini figures, always a hit with the kids, and there’ll be refreshments available in return for a donation.

Come along, build something fun, and support FOSP while you’re at it, probably eating a slice of cake.

We hope to see you there!

You can buy your tickets online and also sign up to volunteer.

Fireworks Display

8th November 2026

Our annual fireworks display is back, proudly sponsored by Heritage. Doors open at 4pm, with no entry after 5pm and the display kicking off at 5:30pm. There’ll be a bar, hog roast, tuck, and glow sticks on the night.

Buy your tickets early – it really does pay off. Adult tickets are just £8 before October, rising to £10 from 11th October and £12 on the door. Children aged 2-16 are £4 early bird, £6 from 11th October, and £8 on the door. A family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) is £22 before October and £28 from 11th October – family tickets aren’t available on the door, so don’t leave it too late.

All profits go straight back into school funds.

Last year the event did sell out – but we also had some returns come in on the night. If tickets sell out before you get yours, it’s still worth turning up early and joining a queue for them, as around 50 tickets did become available on the door.

Please note: no sparklers, no unaccompanied children under 16, and no dogs or smoking on school grounds.

As always, we really need volunteers. Without them, events are in jeopardy of being cancelled. Please sign up early to avoid us having to consider cancelling the event. If we don’t have enough volunteers one week before the event, we will do a final call for volunteers before reviewing if we can put the event on.
