FOSP events

We will keep updating this page with our events for the year. Some of the dates will need to be TBC as they will rely on external factors, but we will do our best to confirm them as soon as possible.

If you want to get involved in any of these events, then just get in touch. It might be you help run the bar for an hour at Inflatables Day, support the Father’s Day stall for one lunchtime in school, or put up some posters to advertise an event.

With future events, we are always looking for support in having prizes donated, match funding or time actually organising or setting up an event.  You don’t have to be on the committee to help and you won’t even need to attend any meetings if you don’t want to!

Summer term

  • Spring disco: Thursday 16th April – get your tickets online
  • New starters stay and play: 12th July 2-4pm, village hall
  • Non uniform day – £2 donation (optional): Wednesday 15th July
  • Scarecrow Trail – 20th July – 3rd August: trail maps available in Bakealicious

Autumn term

Plenty more dates to come!

Scarecrow Trail

20th July - 3rd August

The scarecrow trail starts on 20th July and runs for 2 weeks until 3rd August…. but we need more scarecrows! Without enough of the jolly fellows we cannot have a trail. There is no theme this year so you can make any scarecrow of your choosing.

If you can make one, please email [email protected]

Maps for the trail will be available at Bakealicious in return for a £2 donation.

We’re also still looking for a few sponsors. They’ll be featured on a future version of this newsletter, on the FOSP website, on FOSP’s Instagram page, on a Coggeshall Instagram page (with over 1,500 followers) and on the trail maps themselves. It’s just £50 a spot and we really need this support as all funds go to the school.

Inflatables Day

20th September 2026

We have a new date for Inflatables Day: Sunday 20th September. If you bought tickets for the May date, these will transfer automatically – there is no need to do anything.

Fingers crossed the weather forecast plays nice this time!

However, we do need support from you as well as the weather if the event is to go ahead.

Buy your tickets in advance. One of the reasons we had to postpone was simply that not enough tickets had been sold. We know lots of people were waiting to see the forecast – and plenty of you told us afterwards you were about to buy them – but we can’t run the event on the hope that people will. We need to know that they have.

Volunteers to run hot food and tuck. Without enough people in these roles, the event can’t go ahead. If we’re still short the week before, we’ll sadly have to make that call again. Please sign up online.

This event raises over £2k for the school, so it really is vital it goes ahead. Please buy your tickets early, and if you can volunteer, sign up now as soon as possible.
